The Campaign for Disability Employment

Many of us know how difficult it can be for people with disabilities, whether physical, intellectual or both, to find the gainful employment necessary to sustain independence or to help fray the costs of crucial health care benefits.

There are many issues at work in the United States and around the world and Special Olympics has been a global leader in researching, analyzing and promoting inclusive work environments for people with disablities.  Check out the numerous research studies conducted by Special Olympics.

I just came across this really fun video contest from The Campaign for Disability Employment and wanted to share it with our Fan Community so all of the budding artists in here can get in on the contest!

The Campaign for Disability Employment seeks to promote positive employment outcomes for people with disabilities by encouraging employers, and others, to recognize the value and talent that people with disabilities bring to the workplace, as well as the dividend to be realized by fully including people with disabilities at work. The Campaign is a collaborative effort between the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD); the National Business and Disability Council (NBDC); Special Olympics (SO); the U.S. Business Leadership Network (USBLN); and the Job Accommodation Network (JAN).
