I am a junior in high school and I play volleyball and tennis for my school team.  I also play the piano and I love to sail and ski.  I lead a pretty busy life and what I've learned from the Special Olympics has always played a very important role in everything I do.  Since I was born I've been fully immersed in the Special Olympics spending various nights and weekends at practices and events.  My dad coaches for the team in Groton, Connecticut where my mom is the Local Coordinator.  My brother is two years younger than me and he also volunteers and we've both recruited friends to volunteer as well.  I participate in soccer, volleyball and on the cross country ski team and hopefully this year I'll be joining the sailing team.
